“I must learn to love the fool in me – the one who feels too much, talks too much, takes too many chances, wins sometimes and loses often, lacks self-control, loves and hates, hurts and gets hurt, promises and breaks promises, laughs and cries.”

I never learn. At times, I think I take far too many chances. So here I am in Tokyo – trying my best to fulfill my duties as a photojournalist for Japan Travel. It has almost been a week and it still feels kinda surreal to me.
After my return to Singapore last November, a friend asked me, “now that you have fulfilled your dream of being in New Zealand on a working holiday visa… what are you going to do? Have you forgotten your aspirations to be a travel writer?” I was slightly taken aback by the question. To be honest, I haven’t really been thinking much back then.
Yet, things often seem to work out with a way of their own. Unwittingly, I have been given the opportunity to further explore another potential dream. So… here’s to 5 weeks of travel and (hopefully) good experiences.
Stay tuned and don’t stop chasing dreams.
