It is the morning of Wednesday, June 26, 2013. The Hindus associate this day of the week with Lord Krishna and the planet Mercury. Apparently, the lucky colour associated with Wednesday is Green. Is it Wednesday at your end already?

Just a moment ago, I received a text from a friend who’s travelling in Europe. It was a very simple question that he asked:
Z: ‘hey, what time is it at your end?’
K: ‘9.46am, u?’
Z: ’11.46.’
K: ‘pm? Wow, you are my yesterday!’
Despite being aware of the time difference among different destinations on the globe, it still gives me a jolt when I realised that someone is living in my “yesterday”.

I stopped typing for a moment to contemplate about Time. “Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock…” I can hear the clock droning on with the mild vibration of the fridge in the background. Time passes me by unknowingly, and all I can think about is how sneaky precious it really is.

Perhaps, that’s where the phrase “making every moment count” comes about. Let’s make the most of every day, every moment. Have a good one, peeps! 🙂

Travel Beckons 
I’m currently a student, but have always wanted to go wwoofing. Looking at your posts definitely allows me to live through your experience vicariously. Just a question, how are you travelling through NZ and to the farms? I would imagine that they are more inaccessible.
Hi Chelsy, currently I am staying with a friend who drives me around. In a couple of days, I will be travelling to the South Island and has bought an intercity bus pass. It is pretty easy to get around either by driving or hopping onto a bus. 🙂 For wwoofing, some farms may be out of the way but you can check with the hosts, as they can always drive to the bus stop or town to pick you up. 🙂 Hope this helps!
