The TranzAlpine journey was a sight to behold. Scenery that I have seen only in books or movies came alive before my eyes and words could hardly do justice to the magnificent beauty.
The good people at KiwiRail calls the TranzAlpine, “the trip of a lifetime”. They could very well be right. To fully understand and feel it, you would have to try it. Meanwhile, here’s a preview of what you can expect.
